Young urban leaders were empowered to implement a micro-project
Within the “Enhancing Youth-Led Engagement for Creating an Inclusive and Livable City in Ulaanbaatar Ger Areas” project, the participants of the micro-grant competition were involved in the training on January 7, 2023, at the premises of Save the Children. Eleven participants, selected as “Youth Urban Leaders” attended this empowerment training together with the Technical Assistance team.
The capacity building training aimed to introduce guidelines for developing a micro-grant, increase knowledge on how to implement a youth-led project, how to prepare and present a project report, and other necessary skills. Eleven “Youth Urban Leaders” who attended the training will submit their micro-project ideas together with “Youth Urban Ambassadors”, and selected projects will receive micro financial support.
