“MУ FOREST CHILD” PROJECT COORDINATOR

Batzaya is a development professional with over 20 years of experience in environmental management, agriculture, and sustainable development. She currently serves as the Project Coordinator of the “My Forest Child” project at Save the Children, where she leads project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, reporting, and coordination with key stakeholders. She also contributes to the organization’s environmental and climate change initiatives through strategic engagement.

Previously, she worked with national and international organizations, including the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Mongolian Farmers Association for Rural Development (MFARD), where she supported the implementation of programs related to agriculture, environmental sustainability, and rural development.

Batzaya holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Agriculture from the Mongolian University of Life Sciences. She was also a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow at Cornell University in the United States. In addition, she has participated in educational and professional programs at the University of Minnesota, University of Kansas, University of Bern, UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education (Netherlands), and the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), focusing on agriculture, development evaluation, research skills, leadership, financial management, and sustainable development.
