Seeking a short-term Admin assistant


Position title: Admin Assistant

Position term and type: Full time 3 months

Save the Children (SC) is a leading independent, rights-based organization for children. It was founded in London in 1919. Having started its operations in Mongolia in 1994, SC currently employs approximately 60 staff members and works in seven provinces of Mongolia, implementing programs in Child Protection, Child Rights Governance, Child Poverty, Humanitarian, Education, and Health sectors.

We are seeking a short-term Admin assistant under a short-term emergency project. Admin assistants undertake necessary tasks to support the administration and finance teams in the implementation of response projects which require an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who can work independently and as part of the team.

Required Qualifications for the admin assistant:

  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in related fields such as administration and others
  • At least 2 years experience in administration and logistics management in the NGO sector
  • Good communication and planning skills
  • Sympathy with the aims and objectives of Save the Children
  • Proven experience in all technical areas of logistics operations including procurement, transport/distribution, warehousing, stock management, fleet management, asset management, communications, and security
  • Ability to build relationships quickly with a wide range of people, both internally and externally
  • Cultural awareness, with strong written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills in English and Mongolia
