The Ministry of Education and Science (MES) along with Save the Children is implementing a grant project “Enabling Equity to Advance Learning” (EQUAL), funded by the Global Partnership for Education (GPE). This multi-stakeholder partnership organization aims to strengthen education systems in developing countries.

The EQUAL project aims to improve access and quality of learning through inclusive approaches in Mongolia. The project will have three components: 1) Inclusive Education; 2) School Feeding; and 3) Blended Education. Save the Children will be the Grant Agent (GA) for the EQUAL project throughout its implementation.

We immediately hire the following positions for the Project Implementation Unit of EQUAL . They present excellent opportunities for the incumbents to contribute to the further enhancement of the education sector in Mongolia. 1) Administration and Procurement officer: (18 months)

The Administration and Procurement officer will undertake a variety of office support tasks, working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion, incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results, and managing procurement activities including recruitment of consultants under GPE regulations, and relevant laws and procedures in Mongolia.

2) Procurement consultant: (Intermittent)

The Procurement Consultant will be an expert in the field with an extensive understanding of the revised procurement legislation in Mongolia, prior procurement expertise, document processing abilities, and PIU support incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results and manage procurement activities under GPE regulations, and relevant laws and procedures in Mongolia.
