Since March 30, 2024, Save the Children started implementing the “Promoting Holistic and Inclusive Developmental Support in Early Childhood in Mongolia” project, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan in Bayanzurkh, Chingeltei, and Songinokhairkhan districts of Ulaanbaatar City, Bayankhongor and Selenge provinces.
In the three districts of Ulaanbaatar and the provinces of Bayankhongor and Selenge, the foundation will be laid for local public service providers (health centers, branch commissions, kindergartens, etc.) to promote holistic and inclusive early childhood development support. Measures by central and local governments to promote holistic and inclusive early childhood development through legislation and support for its implementation will begin in earnest.
