<\/p>\nThe e-book has been compiled and published based on essays and hand-drawn artworks created by children who participated in the \u201cChild Protection in My Eyes\u201d essay and drawing competition.<\/p>\n
Save the Children successfully organized the \u201cChild Protection: Problems and Solutions\u201d forum on 7-8 October 2025 in Gobi-Altai aimag, in cooperation with the Governor\u2019s Office and Authority for Child, Family Development and Protection, within the framework of the \u201cEstablishing School-Based Child Protection Mechanism in Mongolia\u201d project implemented from 2023 to 2025.<\/p>\n
The conference aimed to strengthen the child protection mechanism in Gobi-Altai aimag by promoting inter-sectoral dialogue to improve child protection services, jointly identifying key challenges, and enhancing the capacities of professionals providing child protection and education services. The event brought together over 100 participants, including local government leaders and child protection professionals from 18 soums and 2 tosgon\/township.<\/p>\n
In advance of the conference, Save the Children organized the province-wide drawing and essay competition titled \u201cChild Protection in My Eyes\u201d for children aged 6-18, with the aim of increasing public awareness of children\u2019s rights and child protection, encouraging children\u2019s creativity, and providing a platform for children to express their voices through art. The competition was announced and concluded between 24 September and 2 October 2025. Participants submitted drawings and essays expressing their understanding and perspectives on themes such as children\u2019s rights and rights violations, child protection, safeguarding in school and family environments, freedom from violence, care, equal opportunities, and issues affecting children with special needs.<\/p>\n

This publication features a total of 138 submissions by children from Gobi-Altai Province, including 84 essays and 54 drawings submitted to the \u201cChild Protection in My Eyes\u201d essay and drawing competitions, reflecting the hopes, dreams, and perspectives of the children.<\/p>\n
