A fully equipped ambulance was provided for the Bat-Ulzii Soum Health Center. The enhanced medical care will focus on strengthening emergency healthcare services for children and pregnant women, who face increased risks due to geographical and service-access barriers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A key component of the project is the capacity strengthening of local emergency healthcare providers. The full emergency response team of the Bat-Ulzii Soum Health Center was in attendance, including physicians, nurses, community-based physicians, and ambulance drivers.<\/p>\n<p>Training covered maternal, infant, and emergency service readiness, as well as the evaluation and handling of life-threatening medical situations such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ABCDE Assessment and Patient Triage<\/li>\n<li>Anaphylaxis and Emergency Management<\/li>\n<li>Shock and Emergency Management<\/li>\n<li>Basic Life Support (BLS)<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Life Support (ALS)<\/li>\n<li>Recognition and Emergency Management of Stroke<\/li>\n<li>Seizure Management<\/li>\n<li>Emergency Management of Hypoglycemia<\/li>\n<li>Immobilization and Safe Patient Transportation in Trauma and Accident Cases<\/li>\n<li>Emergency Care During Childbirth<\/li>\n<li>Neonatal Emergency Care<\/li>\n<li>Medication Safety<\/li>\n<li>Infection Prevention and Control<\/li>\n<li>Ambulance (103) Readiness and Emergency Preparedness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>KEY SIGNIFICANCE AND EXPECTED CONTRIBUTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project provides critical capacity-strengthening for the full team responsible for delivering emergency medical care directly to the local community, including on-site emergency response and patient transportation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Through practical training, skills development, and modernized equipment, the project strengthens the team\u2019s capacity to recognize and respond to life-threatening conditions, initiate appropriate emergency interventions, stabilize patients, and ensure safe and timely referral and transportation. Enhancing the competencies of frontline healthcare providers is expected to contribute to improved emergency response readiness, quality of care, and access to prompt medical assistance for people living in remote and underserved communities.
